The night bevor me tells the moving story of Diana, a trans woman who reflects on her life during a night full of memories shortly before undergoing gender reassignment surgery. From her childhood as Michael to difficult phases and self-acceptance, Diana takes the audience on an intimate journey full of emotions.

The play combines profound social criticism with humor and joie de vivre. With wit and warmth, it sheds light on social norms, prejudices, and the often rocky road to self-acceptance—without losing sight of the lightness of being.

The musical accompaniment is played live by five musicians and underscores the intimate, focused atmosphere of the evening.

With only one voice on stage, Drew Sarich embodies Diana in all her facets—vulnerable, combative, funny, and human.
